Hundreds of people work the allotments in Hale End Road, and thousands benefit from the produce and days out visiting the plot holders. Friends and family members hold the allotments in special regard and as such it forms much-loved part of growing-up in the local community.
A space which gives character and a meeting place for communities and youngsters of all ages.
